book report

JOHN BOYNE
boy in STRIPED PYJAMAS

the NAZI boy had to move from berlin to somewhere in the country and has made friends with the jew
and the jewish boy had to move from where he lived (above a watch shop)

the nazis dad is a commander and says jews are bad but bruno is still friends with they boy i prison  the and things that bruno does the jew gets in trouble for it it is set in the country in a army house and right next to it is a concentration camp for the jews right next to it.

the german boy (bruno) is not happy with his move but then he meets boy in the camp so he decides that he is going to change his attitude

in the end the boy sneaks into the concentration camp to help find the jew boys dad but then they get taken to a room and they think they are having a shower but they are actually getting gassed

the most exciting part is when he first goes into the forest where he is not allowed and goes to see where he  thinks is a farm but it is actually a jail.

brunos dad took a long time to find out that he was killed when he found out he regretted coming here with his family

the book was not based on a true story but that what it was like then.
